Android 6.0 M For Marshmallow-Features of The OS: Google has kept suspense about new Android 6.0 M version for a long time, but today it revealed actual name for the Android that is Marshmallow. Google has also provided the official Android 6.0 Software Developer Kit (SDK). Google’s Twitter handler has confirmed the news and revealed the images of this sweet Android named Marshmallow.
Google will also open gates of Google Play Store for the developers to upload the Android 6.0 Marshmallow supporting Apps. Google has plans to provide the latest OS only on Nexus devices firstly that are due for launch, then Android 6.0 will be made available for up-gradations to pure older Android users. Google has announced this sugary OS name and arrival of final developers preview of the Operating System.

Currently Android developer kit is available and there are a lot of improvements made in it. You can download this kit and start working on apps that will support Android 6.0 Marshmallow package and target API level 23. When you download Android 6.0 SDK in your Android Studio, just update your projectcompileSdkVersion to 23 and you are good to go for development.
How to get the Update?
Developers can download system device images from Developers Preview Site. Similar to previous Android version developer tools the supported Nexus devices will receive OTA(Over the Air) update in next few days. Android 6.0 SDK system is final for developers but that’s not available for consumers. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is expected to be made available for public use from coming fall.

As compare to the previous developers preview kit, Google has made nice improvements for more security and easiness. The major updates made in this new version are given below:
